Can someone tell me how to get this working? This thread is locked. I tried about 3 times and still no luck. None of the 32 bit driver links work.. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread. Check this thread out they are using the same promise drivers that asus uses and look what the cause was promise driver issue Hope this helps.

The version on the Asus site is the early version without the updated. KStork Replied on November 27, I went to Green Machine and checked fxsttrak out. Your problem is solved, simply install these drivers. But no luck so far.

This thread is locked. I use this computer for work I tried getting the Promise driver to load but can’t seem to get it to do so, or if I did prromise something is amis.

Thanks again for the fsttrak. OS windows 7 I had to burn the files on the root directory, but when Vista tried to install I popped in the CD’s and it had to uncheck the “Hide drivers that are not compatible with this computer’s hardware” I tried both the Win and the Ultra XP drivers but each time there was still no drive appearing after I hit Refresh.
I usually recover from the trips to the unknown but it is always with more stress than is friendly. I’ll try the asus site in case they have corectly signed x64 drivers. Sorry this didn’t help. Without doing so, you would load the driver at win7 setup but you still wouldnt see the hard disk, thats where i thought of this alteration in bios setup Keeps me on my toes.
